Lenses Got Problems Too

I found an interesting, well, fascinating article on the 7 different flaws a lens renders or can render into a photograph. The LensRentals blog is a really great blog.

I remember when I first discovered "color fringing" in my photos while I was in photography school. I was very annoyed and spent hours removing every fuzzy purple edge with the clone stamp tool. Come to find out, "color fringing" or lateral chromatic aberration is far from the only issue lens designers and optics engineers try to tackle.

I've wanted to turn that article into an infographic for some time. I tinkered with it on and off for almost a year. I made this on Canva. Thanks, Canva! But this time, I went rogue and ditched a template. We can tell, you're probably thinking. Nevertheless, learning is happening and that is exciting. For the next infographic, I may need to pop those training wheels back on.
